Customer Insights: July 2017 Update
In today’s post, we want to talk about the last month update for Dynamics 365 for Customer Insights. We took the latest information found on the Microsoft dynamics blog and summarized it in this article.
According to the official site, in addition to the existing Customer 360, this update includes the following new functionalities that will allow companies and organizations to transform their customer data into intelligent insights:
“Guide your decisions and processes by applying artificial intelligence to predict outcomes across your business”.
Predictive Scoring in Customer Insights allows business users to create custom prediction model for any outcome using Machine Learning. Insights you can create predictions by simply identifying the desired entity and attributes.

Target specific audiences:
“Identify and take advantage of marketing opportunities by creating granular customer segmentation based on transactional and behavioral data, inferences, and insights.”
Segmentation in Customer Insights, allows marketers to look beyond the customer, and incorporate related entities, as well as inferences & predictions, into marketing segments.
“Fully understand the customer journey across channels by using contextual information and artificial intelligence that matches customers with previously ambiguous activities and profiles.”
Predictive Match, you can use contextual information to match such activity or records across channels, with known customer profiles. It leverages AI and heuristics, to infer high-confidence links and relationships to known individuals or organizations.
